Two experts appointed guest professors at SZTU

At the invitation of Quality and Standards Academy of Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU), Zhang Xiaogang, former president of International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and Professorate Senior Engineer Ouyang Jinsong, director of Instrumentation Technology and Economy Institute of China (ITEI), recently gave insightful lectures for the faculty and students and were appointed as guest professors at SZTU.

Co-organized by Quality and Standards Academy of SZTU, the 2020 IEC YP (China) & International Standardization Leadership Elite Programme was held in Shenzhen from August 31 to September 6, during which SZTU hosted two lectures by the two experts in quality management and standardization. Former ISO President Zhang Xiaogang gave a lecture on “Development Trend of International Standardization and ‘Made in China’”, and ITEI Director Ouyang Jinsong gave another on “Core Elements of Intelligent Manufacturing and the Standardization”.

Prof. Ruan Shuangchen, president of SZTU, and Prof. Zhang Yanhong, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection of SZTU, attended the lectures and officiated at the appointment ceremonies. Hired as guest professors, Prof. Zhang and Prof. Ouyang will be actively engaged in the academic and scientific research of SZTU and offer advice and support on the school development.
