On December 9, the International Seminar on “Construction of Innovation Culture” of the 13th Shenzhen Academic Annual Conference was held online by Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU). Shenzhen Academic Annual Conference is an academic exchange event jointly sponsored by Publicity Department of Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the CPC, Shenzhen Social Sciences Association and Shenzhen Press Group. The online seminar was attended by experts and scholars from different countries including the United States, France, Canada and Vietnam, as well as those from domestic cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Shenzhen.

At the seminar, several guests were invited to give academic speeches on innovation culture in different fields, including Prof. François Féral, honorary research director of EPHE - PSL and honorary president of the University of Perpignan, France; Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoan, director and associate professor of the Institute of Philosophy of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Vietnam; Dr. Xia Yunlong, president of the Chinese Media Association of North America and CEO of China168 Information Services Ltd.; Dr. Zhang Jiandong, director and associate researcher of the Office of Proof of Concept for Medical Innovation, Naval Medical University; Li Jing, director of Innovation Working Committee of China International Association for Promotion of Science and Technology; and Dr. Chen Yunzhi, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and dean of School of Tea (Pu'er), West Yunnan University of Applied Sciences.
